De-Escalation 1 (Trauma Informed Care)
NCI in Schools de-escalation training is designed to equip staff with effective communication, conflict resolution skills and foster a safe and supportive atmosphere. Due to the impact of trauma on students and the associated risk of learning loss, this training emphasizes the importance of trauma-informed teaching practices. The implementation of evidence-based strategies is crucial for mitigating the impact of disrupted learning experiences, ensuring overall school success.
De-Escalation 2 (Adverse Childhood Experiences)
NCI in Schools de-escalation training is designed to equip staff with effective communication, conflict resolution skills and foster a safe and supportive atmosphere. Due to the impact of adverse childhood experiences on students (and the associated risk of learning loss), this training emphasizes the importance of adverse childhood experiences, coupled with teaching practices. Our training will equip teachers with effective strategies to manage and prevent disruptive behaviors in the classroom increasing student engagement, safety, positive student-teacher relationships, and reduction in disciplinary problems.
